Bubble Breach
Jan 28, 2025
"Deep in the depths of a sewage plant, a toxic gas bubble leaking from the pipes is the source of all chaos. 5 workers are left trapped in the plant, joining forces they each need to use their individual abilities to solve the 5 puzzles. Keys are hidden within the plant, collect at least 3 to outrun the toxic bubble and unlock the emergency door."
This year I participated in the Global Game Jam. During this competition, I solely focused on creating the trailer for my team's game, "Bubble Breach"
As the team's game trailer editor, I looked to using a multitude of clips from the game, ensuring that the theme of our "horror" game came to life. Utilizing our group's sound designers and 3D modeler's skills, we worked to create a creepy ambience and retro-creepy pasta feeling for our evil radiation bubble.
Although our game did not win any of the awards given out by SCAD this year, I thoroughly enjoyed just focusing on the editing of the trailer. Getting to learn more about audio and video mixing within Adobe After Effects was really exciting, and I like to think I was able to showcase our game to the best of my ability within our time constraints.
(As a result of the site being down during our submission time, we weren't able to fully upload our game onto the Global Game Jam site. You're more than welcome to still visit our page and view our in game screenshots!)
