Hi! I'm Alex Yax
Alex is a Visual Effects major at Savannah College of Art and Design, graduating May 2025. They enjoy a multitude of creative mediums; from crocheting to digital 3D modeling. Their work and artistry has been ever evolving with their understanding of the world around them. Alex enjoys getting to explore new heights while also learning from others.
Alex believes art time and time again saves us all, and they are forever grateful for the chance to articulate their emotions through such means <3
From producing and game development to costume design & themed entertainment, Alex is appreciative of all the knowledge they've gained from SCAD and would love to work at a company where they can help create someone's vision!
What am i working on now
I have been storyboarding a new project that I am extremely excited about. I'm working on a tar and feather scene, which will include elements of 2D and 3D imagery and animation. I am also researching and modeling for an ocean discovery experience of Mariana's Trench.
Current
Learning fluid and groom simulations, integrating 2D and 3D animations, and diving deeper into After Effects for compositing and post-production.
